Hi everyone, we left next week saying we would have talked about a venue in Liguria. Here we are with the description of one of the wedding locations of the Italian Riviera we like the most: L’Eremo della Maddalena.
The hermitage of La Maddalena is situated in an isolated position on a hill at about 3 kilometers from the town of Monterosso Al Mare, in the beautiful area of the Cinque Terre. The view is spectacular!
Hi everyone, today we want to present another beautiful wedding location in Liguria: Castello Canevaro.
This spectacular castle is located in Zoagli, an ancient Roman town 30 km from the Genoa Airport. The building is perched on a spur of rock that protrudes in the center of a gulf, named Gulf of Tigullio, and has direct access to a private beach with crystal-clear waters.
The last Roman venue we want to talk about is Donna Camilla Savelli, a sophisticated hotel with artistic nuances housed in the former Baroque monastery of Santa Maria dei Sette Dolori.
It is located at the foot of the Gianicolo hills, in an intimate and quiet corner of the Trastevere neighbourhood, loved by artists and poets.
La Posta Vecchia is a stunning Renaissance Palazzo built right on a beach in Palo Laziale, 29 kilometres from the airport and 40 kilometers from the center of Rome.
It really is a one-of-a-kind luxurious retreat. Arezzo tapestries, Roman mosaics, precious art collections and ancient artefacts coexist in perfect harmony with a contemporary and elegant design.
The first Roman location we want to present to you is Antiche Scuderie Odescalchi, an elegant historic residence immersed in the green of the Roman countryside, near Lake Bracciano.
The property was used for agricultural activities and sheep-farming until 1887, when it was inherited by Prince Don Baldassarre who transformed it into stables for horse breeding and devoted himself to the improvement of the equine race. That’s the reason behind the name “Antiche Scuderie”, which means ancient stables.
Lazio is the heart of Italy, not only for its central position within the country, but due to the country’s capital city of Rome, the city par excellence, renowned for Italian excellence, romance and history.
There is nowhere quite like Rome, home to some of the world’s most important historical sights such as the Colosseum, the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon, not to mention the Vatican, the birthplace of Christian culture. It is exciting, magical, romantic… in short, Rome weddings are whirlwinds of emotion.
