Villa Durazzo: a treasure to be discovered close to Portofino

It is an architectural complex located in Santa Margherita Ligure, one of the most attractive and elegant towns of Liguria, 35 kilometers from Genoa and 10 minutes from Portofino. The complex is one of the most important historical sites of the area and is also a museum. It is situated in the center of the village and right above the harbor of Santa Margherita.

This spectacular castle is located in Zoagli, an ancient Roman town 30 km from the Genoa Airport. The building is perched on a spur of rock that protrudes in the center of a gulf, named Gulf of Tigullio, and has direct access to a private beach with crystal-clear waters.

Antiche Scuderie Odescalchi: the perfect fusion of history and nature

The first Roman location we want to present to you is Antiche Scuderie Odescalchi, an elegant historic residence immersed in the green of the Roman countryside, near Lake Bracciano.

The property was used for agricultural activities and sheep-farming until 1887, when it was inherited by Prince Don Baldassarre who transformed it into stables for horse breeding and devoted himself to the improvement of the equine race. That’s the reason behind the name “Antiche Scuderie”, which means ancient stables.
